Calvià markets

Calvià is a municipality that stimulates local commerce in its different population centres. For this reason, there are several markets in Calvià that offer locals and visitors a wide variety of typical products. From regular markets to craft markets, they are the perfect way to spend a pleasant morning in Palmanova and the surrounding area.

Whichever one you visit, you're only a few minutes away from, once you've done your shopping, popping into The Blue Bar and relaxing on our terrace on Son Matias beach. Here are the markets in the area.

Weekly markets in Calvià

Calvià Market. This weekly market is held every Monday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. This is the most consolidated market in Calvià, located in the centre of the municipality. It has more than 60 stalls distributed along the main street. Visitors can find clothes, food, footwear, handicraft products, etc.

Son Ferrer. Every Friday, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, in this residential area located between El Toro and Magaluf. Among its stalls you can find traditional Balearic products, crafts, clothes, fruit, vegetables and sausages.

Peguera. Also weekly, it is held on Tuesdays from 8:30 am to 1 pm. It sells mainly handmade products and foodstuffs.

Santa Ponça. Another market in Calvià that takes place every week is the Santa Ponça market. Every Saturday, it offers handicrafts and food products, among others. From 8:30 to 13:00.

In addition to these markets in Calvià that operate all year round, during the summer season, from May to October, more areas are added. Numerous craftsmen, painters and artists in general are present in the tourist areas of Peguera, Palmanova, Magaluf and Santa Ponça. They offer caricatures and a variety of entertainment to strollers in the evenings.

Finally, Christmas also floods Calvià with markets in areas such as Palmanova, Santa Ponça, the centre of the municipality of Calvià... Another way of enjoying the summer winter season with the traditions and typical products of these months of the year.
