What to do in Palmanova in October
With the arrival of autumn, there are those who are still reluctant to leave behind the days at the beach. Others, however, are already looking for other types of cultural and sporting activities. Among the many things to do in Palmanova in October is the XX Calvià Chess Festival. From the 6th to the 15th of October 2023 Palmanova hosts this chess festival in the Sala Palmanova, which is located at C/Diego Salvà Lezaunún, nº2. More sport is on offer at the "Beach Box Camps". Beach volleyball camps with the coach Aleksandrs Samoilovs. Every year this event attracts more and more participants. Therefore, this year it will offer not only volleyball, but also beach tennis, fitness and youth beach volleyball camps. The aim of the organisation is that those who want to know what to do in Palmanova in October will remember this unmissable beach sports event.
Challenge Peguera Mallorca
On the weekend of the 14th and 15th of October, very close to our location, the Challenge Peguera Mallorca will take place. The famous triathlon will celebrate on Friday 13th the Junior Challenge Mallorca Run for the youngest and the Challenge Women Mallorca. On Saturday 14th it will be the turn of the main event. On these days there will be traffic restrictions in the municipality of Calvià. Finally, on Sunday the 15th, the Junior Challenge Aquathlon will take place. The triathlon coincides on Saturday 14th with the Playas de Santa Ponça Tennis Tournament.
On the 20th, 21st and 22nd of October it is the turn of the Mallorca Yoga Festival. It will be held in the town of Calvià and will feature masterclasses, a street market and music. Finally, the Natural Bodybuilding Championship will be held on the 21st and 22nd in the Peguera auditorium.
